X50V 2200mah Battery

Does anyone have this battery ? Is it the same size as the stock 1100mah ?

It's roughly twice as thick as the standard battery, neccesitating an alternate (but included) larger bettery door cover.

Piel Frama (http://www.pielframa.com/menu_axim_x50_battery.htm) has just released a fliptop case thatcan hold your Ax with an Extended battery attached. I've been using it without a case and if anything the whole device is easier to hold than with the stock battery for all its being larger. Here's a link to a thread (http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=67382) with a picture of a woman holding an X50 with the extended battery attached after a stylus mod I did.

Thanks for the info ! I will wait until my device gets here to see how big it is on its own then decide if I want the bigger battery.

I see Sena Cases is now listing the Extended Battery case for the X50v !
That makes my decision much easier now...:)

PDair now makes a hard case for the X50v and extended battery.
