Did you try completely disabling power save mode? Also, did you install the latest (4.1) drivers?

I use my SA BT keyboard a lot with both my PL720 and iPAQ 2210. Due to power save mode, it sometimes indeed lags, but I've never lost anything I've entered because of filled buffers.

power save mode?

Power save mode is intended to extend the life of the batteries but can slow the response time of the keys. Turning it off will give you a more desktop-like response at the expense of more frequent battery replacement. Most of us don't type fast enough on the keyboard for the delays to be much of a nuisance. Under Advanced settings you should also be able to adjust some of the response times of keystrokes.

i updated the drivers and now i have two instances of the keyboard driver installed. one called 'stowaway keyboard driver' and one called 'stowaway keyboard and mouse driver' im assuming the first one is the first driver, since i didnt have the mouse icons before installing the second driver. can i remove the first instance? can i remove the mouse icons?

thanks

AFAIK, yes. I think I was in the same situation after upgrading.

can i remove the mouse icons?

You don't need to exlicitly remove the mouse icon from another app - just uncheck "Show Icon on Today screen" in it (or, alternatively, in Programs / Stowaway Travel Mouse) and also click the 'Disable' button.

removing the old drivers removed something the new drivers needed. going to try installing just the new drivers

edit - installing just the newest ones work.
