network/web?

No/Yes. You can't browse or attach to local network shares from the cradle because it requires IP protocols that the AS connection doesn't support. You can get to your local web server, because HTTP, etc is supported. I have have to enter it by IP though if there is no name resolution going on in your local network.

So what do i need to do to get to the web? Does it just use the same ip as my computer then?

Internal or external? External you should just be able to put the URL in the browser bar and go. AS sets up something akin to Internet Connection Sharing and will forward your internet requests out the network port of the PC you are connected to, and out through whatever yuor internet connection is. It's called Internet Pass-through, is enabled by default, but does have a check box in AS that can turn it off.

For the internal stuff, you put the ip address of the machine that is your web server in the address bar. You might get away with the url if there is something doing the name resolution.

The AS connection actually sets up a little IP network between the PPC and the PC, using virtual ports and two IPs in the 192.168.55.x network. The PPC is 192.169.55.101 and the PC 192.168.55.100, IIRC.
