This might have been asked before, but if it did then I couldn't find the answer. My question is this... what is the cheapest way to access the internet via Bluetooth on my Pocket PC with Cingular, and how do I set it up? Which feature would I need to use with Cingular to enable this service? What settings in my motorola phone and Pocket PC do I set? I'm used to T-Mobile, so I have no idea how different Cingular is from them. Any answers to these questions as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated... My phone and PDA seem so far apart now. Thanks!

I'm sure somebody will come up with a good guide for connecting your PocketPC to your phone. As for what you need from Cingular, you need to add the Media Works package to your phone. It's $20 a month, and includes unlimited GPRS/EDGE data.

Yanathin, my experience is that BT Dial-Up configuration is more dependent on the service than it is on the phone and/or PDA (assuming they're both BT enabled).

So can you confirm that you've already established the pairing of the two devices? If so, were you was able to locate the DUN service on the phone via the BT browser from the PDA?

If you've done those 2 things, then I think you'd just need to know what the dial string is for GPRS access with Cingular (assuming you have a GPRS plan) and check if there's any special command strings that need to be appended to the DUN profile (not usually the case).

If your phone was obtained by someone other than Cingular, you may also need to configure the phone's internet settings to connect to Cingular's data network (APN / DNS / IP).

Let me know what exactly your stuck on and perhaps I can help you figure it out.
