I've ditched my HP iPAQ rx3715, but am now looking for a replacement and have vowed to do my research. I'm hoping I'm just missing something -- please tell me there is a PPC that syncs with Outlook 2003!

I know there isn't an iPAQ, but isn't there something?

They all should be able to. I've got an iPAQ h1940 that synchronises flawlessly with Outlook 2003.

Indeed, as long as you have ActiveSync, you should be able to sync with any version of Outlook, 2003 or even later, no problem.

My iPAQ 5450 and my iPAQ hx4705 have both synced perfectly (well almost, it is ActiveSync after all) with Outlook 2003 for almost a year now.

Where did you hear that iPAQ's don't sync with Outlook 2003? That is just plain silly. I would be surprised that there is any PPC manufactured in the past 2-3 years that does NOT sync with Outlook 2003.

If your rx3715 would not sync with Outlook 2003 then there is probably something wrong with ActiveSync or your PC setup.

I have an Ipaq 2215 that syncs just fine with Outlook 2003. I know of 10 or so other people with varying models of Pocket PC that also sync up just fine with Outlook 2003, so you shouldn't be concerned.

Well, for 2003 you have to have ActiveSync 3.7.1 or higher, and no versions of AS work wih Outlook 98.
