You will find a set of pictures of the M500, side-by-side with the Dopod 818, and a benchmark summary of the M500 against the iPAQ rx3715 and the Dopod 818. Interesting stuff! I must say though - the M500 seems a little thick.

So the M500 benchmarks better, takes better quality pictures, and has a better screen.

Now it's even more tempting. Of course, I won't hold my breath waiting for a variant of it to appear in the US... :frusty:

mikewchandler over at howardforums managed to get his hands on one, and has been giving us all the juicy details.

looks good, except it seems his unit may be suffering from voice quality issues. until a pocketpc phone comes out with:

JAM's size
built-in keyboard
wifi
high speed data (ie EDGE)

i think i'll stick to my JAM for the time being.

agreed. Now that I got my JAM upgraded to 120MB by PocketPC Techs, it is the perfect pda phone combo for me right now that will be hard to beat.

The Dopod is quite ugly. The name fits well. I think the ETEN looks kinda slick...
