media player 10 problem pls help

i have a jam. i am trying to play music with it. i realised that it does not recognize the songs automatically and i have to add the files to the library-playlist manually. however i have done this 1000 times i see that in each try, the jam got locked and i had to soft reset it. is it a problem deriving from the software or is my jam broken. or maybe i am doing something wrong. pls help me. is there anyother good software for mp3 files?

What version of media player are you using on your PC? I have the same problem with my older PPC accepting songs from the newer media player installed on my laptop....get the latest on your desktop as the jam should be using 10, eh?
