Keep the "case" shut

I have a dual compact flash card sleeve for my 5555. Over the past few months, the locking mechanism (same as the the initial sleeve that came with the 5555) has worn down to the point where it's hard to keep the cover "locked" in place.

Does anybody have a fix or a work around for this problem?
