Credit for News find???

Hello,

I am a newbie at this forum, and I want to submit news and would like to know what the "Credit for news find" field means. I checked all the FAQs but did not find the answer. Is this a point system? If yes, how do the members benefit from this?

It's not as complicated as you think: that's just the field we use if you want to be credited. And if you have a Web site you'd like us to link to, you can add that as well. There is no point system - you should submit news if you want to help keep this community up to date with news. :-)

In other words, it's a polite way of saying "So-and-so told us this". And if you submitted something and your name isn't on there, it usually just means someone beat you to the punch :D
