i want to get a keyboard for my 4155 and looking at the Think Outside website, there is a pdf explaining how to file down the plastic on the keyboard for a more secure connection for the 2200, 4100, and 4300 series.

those of you that have these series, did you find it neccessary to file down the plastic?

if you did, did you have any qualms about doing so?

I did it very easily with a dremel tool to make the plastic base flat to fit my old 2215. I covered the small remaining holes with some black electrical tape and it worked fine. You can still use it with the older versions once you've modified it, it just isn't curved and form-fitting to the bottom of the device anymore.
Good Luck!

I had the same keyboard, and even after dremelling it down I was able to return it and put credit towards a wireless IR keyboard, so I'd say get it and try it out.
