One of the major reasons that keeps me from completely replacing my paper notebooks with my pocket pc is the lack of support for exponents and numbers in subtext.

I would write my notes on the touchscreen so I can add exponents, but my writing is too sloppy on the touchseen.

Does anyone know of a word processor that has support for such special characters?

Sub- and superscripts are supported by TextMaker, http://www.softmaker.de/tmp_en.htm

Thanks Menneisyys, this works really well.

I'm not sure if I'm going to shell out 50 dollars yet though.

If you can wait most of the year, Softmaker might have their $11.11 sale (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34238) again this year... in November. :)

I think I'll pay the 50 dollars, this is really neat. I really like the table feature.
