View Full Version : HELP - can't activesync (or restore backup)

i'm in a very bad place all of a sudden and i'm not sure how i got here... my PPC started having an "out of nowhere" problem syncing today and after several reboots (of my PPC and PC) i decided to delete my partnership and try and recreate it - but i still can't get activesync going. any ideas on what to try? i can't even restore a backup of my PPC because of this...

help!

ps activesync won't even OPEN on my PPC for some reason... that's what started me thinking in need to restore a backup (but obviously can't do that).

I've also had many problems over the years with ActiveSync, but alsways seem to resolve them after visiting Chris De Herrera's Windows CE Website:

It's an excellent site with indepth info on ActiveSync. It has all kinds of troubleshooting guides for each version of ActiveSync (screenshots and all), and most pda's (click "by device' on the top of his page).

I would start with a fresh reboot of you PC and a soft reset of your pda. Download the latest ActiveSync and peruse this website.
