Spb Pocket Plus and Dell Axim X50v issues

I've noticed that the screen brightness slider in Pocket Plus doesn't work on my X50v (ROM A01 or A02). Anyone know of a way to fix this or if it's a known problem?

It is a known problem.

I am told over at Axim Site that SPB said that the X50/X50v will be fully support in their next update. I presume this will be 2.3 and I hope it will be soon because I want that update too. I think there was also a problem with the repeating alarms and PIE enhancements. But since I don't use either of those features so I can't tell you much more.

Unfortunately this happens with almost new device that comes out because every OEM, and every device, has a different way of controlling the screen brigthness - forcing Spb to have to get their hands on each device and work out a fix manually.

I've been working round it by using the old fashioned method of changing screen brightness. :wink: Just one of those things. I'm sure an updated version of Pocket Plus can't be too far away.
