Using MemMaid, I have discovered several .CAB and .DAT files (7000 bytes) which were apparently used when installing the programs.

Can these be safely removed without consideration to where the programs were installed (main memory vs. SD card)?

Yes. (BTw, did you mean \Temp or any temporary directory by 'Registry'?)

When using Mem Maid (Advanced Cleaner), one of the cleaning categories is "Dead Registry". I figured items in that section could be safely removed, but I wanted to be sure.

Dear Sir,
Those can be removed without causing any probelms.
Those entries point to non-existing files.
