usb keyboard.... anyone made it to work on A730W?

Just curious, has anyone here had any success in connecting and using their USB keyboard? I have a USB keyboard that has a downstream USB port where I connected a usb mouse. The mouse works but the keyboard doesn't. I replaced the mouse and put a flash disk and that still works. Even with the keyboard alone plugged to the ASUS doesn't work. Any idea what could I have been missing?

I'm not going to be helpful here... But I thought I'd let you know my USB keyboard work just fine... I don't know why yours doesn't ??? Maybe you should try another KB...

Hello jld... that helps. At least I know some USB keyboard works. Lisa from MobileTechReview says that her MacAlly USB keyboard works also. I'm using BTC mini keyboard and HP. What usb keyboard did you use?
