Ipaq 4150 / Linksys Wireless Router / PC - Wireless Activesync problem
I can use 4150 to browse the Internet no problem. But even after I have made all the chnages in desktop and Ipaq, I still cannot do wireless Activesync. After I clicked Sync, it waited for a few miniutes and said cannot make connection.
Any help please?
Thanks.

Sounds like your computer's firewall is blocking the connection. I had to "train" Norton's to let it go through.

You may also want to make sure that the wireless profile for your router at home and the setting on the Network Adaptors tab is set to "Work" where it says, "My network card connects to..." If it says, "The Internet," it won't connect correctly unless you're syncing to an Exchange server.

I am using Norton Antivirus 2003 and Win XP SP2. But I have turned OFF SP2's firewall and I cannot find any firewall option in Norton. Where should I check?
Thanks.

Ok! It works for me now! What was the rescue?

Installed it, keyed in the Desktop's computer name and IP address, clicked ADD, choosed Activesync and press Sync.
They were all the step!!!
Working flawlessly!!
