I have accidentally bought an Asus a730w that has a German operating system. Is there a possibility to either change the Rom to the English version or otherwise edit the registry so I can translate most of the words in English?
Thanks in advance, it's quite annoying to not understand what your pocket pc says

It may be possible as soon as somebody publishes how the A730W bootloader works and you make someone dump his/her English ROM for you so that you can re-flash your PPC. You may also want to check out the generic PPC forum, http://www.pocketmatrix.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=11 over at PocketMatrix - that's the place most ASUS users turn up.
Unfortunately, there's not an easy way of changing a language of the Windows Media operating system. WM devices are shipped with only one language because of ROM space limitations / the simplicity of the op. system, and you can't just change the messages. The entire op. system must be re-flashed; that is, re-written from a different machine. Not an easy task.
