I have successfully removed several programs, but one keeps stubbornly leaving its icon which shows up under program, although the program no longer show under programs in memory, nor does ActiveSync show it.

Any ideas how to just get rid of the icon?

Thanks.

Open File Explorer on your Device. Go to the Windows\Start Menu\Programs Folder. Hold down your stylus on the offending link and choose delete from the popup menu.

There can also be stray registry entries left by incomplete uninstalls. It's a good idea to invest in a clean-up app. I use MemMaid and have developed the habit of running a cleaning scan after uninstalling an app. It finds orphaned shortcuts and files as well as unremoved registry entries.
