A thought just struck me (Ya I know... 8O ) while standing here at work looking at the Seagate Pocket Drives we carry. Does anyone know if they are using a "microdrive" in them?

I would hate to buy one just to destroy it.

They are the same drives that the Microdrives use but without the CF interface. You're best bet is the Rio Carbon. It has a CF microdrive in it. I got mine out of an early version of the Creative Muvo2. I love having 4 gigs of storage in my PDA, for only $150.

Prices on 4GB Hitachi Microdrives have come way down lately. I used Price Grabber here and got one for $189 including Shipping. It's part of the Travel Kit so it comes with a PCMCIA adapter. Comp-u-Plus is the company I used.
