I've played around with the activesync options and turned off all the scheduling things i could find and set to manual sync, but my SX66 still turns on every minute when i leave it in the cradle. How can i turn it off when i don't need it?

Do you have it checking email? All your apps closed?
I leave mine in its cradle overnight hooked to the laptop. I just click the power button on the top right and it goes off all night. Wakes in the AM when my weather report text message comes in.

Hi,
If it behaves like XDA II, which I am familiar with, your SX66 will always turn itself on as long as it is connected to your desktop which is also turned on. This is because you have programmed your SX66 for activesync as soon as it is on the cradle with your desktop on. However, if you turn off your desktop as well as your SX66 on the cradle OR you disconnect your SX66 from your desktop, it will not turn itself on except you have a call or you program it to do something else like an alarm.

There's a handy little app called Killactivesync that should solve your problem It lets you turn on Activesync only when you need it not Automatically everytime you put it in the cradle. http://www.mydesktophelp.com/development.htm scroll down it's at the bottom of this page.

Always happy to help. And thanks for reporting back. That seldom happens. Made my day actually. 8)
