Jon walked me through the entire Nextlink product line, including two new exciting products that are only in development stages...I got first hand look at the 5G and compared its size to the AX. Wow - what a difference. I was thrilled to see that Nextlink decided to use the same rubberize replaceable ear piece that is used in the AX. I love the 5G because it fits nicely inside my ear without hanging past my ear lobes."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/parekh-20050114-Nextlink.jpg" /><br /><br />We've posted on the <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35991">Bluespoon AX</a> before, and it's amazing that they're making something <i>smaller</i> than that. 8O Of all the Bluetooth headset manufacturers, Nextlink is by far the leader in miniaturization. I'm immensely curious if the Nextlink folks will design stereo earbuds in the near future. ;)

Small and useful. The way it should be. For a minute there, I thought those were plastic mice. 8)

The 5G is going to be pretty expensive, though - $400!?!?!?!
I wouldn't mind opting for the AX ... if only I could find someone in the UK that sold them!

Hi all,
Have a look at the first impression article:

Smartfone.com also ships internation - they're expecting their next shipment in the next week or so and should be taking pre-order.

... and it has arrived! Fantastic service - much faster than I expected, given the advisories on their web site.
I think I've made the right decision to choose this over the 5G. Apart from the price, I think that a smaller earpiece would be difficult to find & press the buttons on 8O.
