Resco Explorer 2003 and Photo Viewer silently updated [Archive]

The only thing that jumps out at me about Resco Explorer 5.13 is that the toolbar buttons look different/nicer on my VGA display. I'm sure there are other changes, but I sure can't find them.

....to 5.13 and 5.20 respectively. And Resco Keyboard Pro to 4.32.

Nothing, I would say, except for the starting image, which is a car now, and not a portrait of a boy.

Actually, ALL the "new features" mentioned in the "What's new in ver 5.20" section ( http://www.resco-net.com/picview.asp ) have already existed in 5.11 (even the "Fade Smoothly and Fade Through Black"). I've also bemcharked the program with my 14 Mpixel test images; produced exactly the same results as 5.11. Memory usage / the (poor) zooming capabilities / the inability to save large images are also untouched, unfortunately. There may be changes in the JPEG / TIFF handling; it's just that I haven't seen them because the new (?) version behaved exactly the same with my test images as the old.

I'd think the version change is just a "quick bucks" move from Resco ;)
