I recently came across this (http://itvibe.com/news/3167/) article about Microsoft's new AntiSpyware software, and I decided to try it out. I'm not sure how good it is, since my system has been clean from Ad-Aware SE... It did tell me not to use Windows Messenger because of security leaks though...(Microsoft is finally admitting their software is insecure!!! 8O ) I thought you guys might want to know, since Spyware is no good, and it IS free, so here it is. If you want to download it directly and not go through the article just click here (http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/1/5/815d2d60-49b5-44dc-ae35-fca2f2c6f0cc/MicrosoftAntiSpywareInstall.exe).
I also read Microsoft might be working on Anti-Virus as well. It's always good to have free software that works well!!! :D

I downloaded it when it came out and I am not sure of how good it works. My system showed up clean, so in Microsoft's eyes, Spyware Search and Destroy does a good job!

I run both Spybit S&D and Ad-Aware. I may give this one a whirl. You can't be too careful!

I, too, run both Spybot S&D and Adaware. I downloaded the beta last week and am testing it now!

Also, if you click on advanced tools, there is a tool you can use called tracks eraser. It seems to be a lot like MemMaid for the PC. (Another program replaced now... :D )

I've played around with this and like it about as much as Ad-aware and Spybot S&D. Check out my review
