I know this very basic.
I went to file explorer, clicked on an image to set as the new background or skin and now don't know how to go back to default. Also not too sure how to get some new skins downloaded.
Also wondering how to change the lettering color on the today screen, which currently is showing letters in white.
I use Pocket Breeze, Fusion Agenda, on a Dell Axim X5.
Thanks for any ideas.

To revert back to the original picture, go to Settings > Today and uncheck the "Use this picture as the background" box. If you're after new themes for your device, look around for TSK files. A good place to start is Pocket McDeb. (http://www.mcdeb.com/) When you download the themes, it's best to sort them out (for example, store them in a Themes folder in My Documents, or something like that). You can then change them using the same Today applet.

You can do this if you create your own themes. A good starting point is Microsoft Theme Generator, but it's quite limited. There are other packages out there. Another way to change it is to tweak the registry colour settings, but I won't go into that. It's easier to use Tweaks2K2 .NET instead.

This has been the most helpful site I have found. I really appreciate your patience. You are witnessing a technological dinosaur entering the modern age. :D

Yes, e.g. FunnySnake's TKCreater ( http://www.funnysnake.com/mobile/ ) is pretty cool in this respect - it also allows for font color changing. The thead at http://pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=36176 discusses this.
