This might be a good idea for people to use to set a shutdown on their PPC after an alarm so the battery does not run down.

don't know if the shut down will keep the setting. The reset at a certain time works, it resets but it does not retain the settings.

I like it for the turn off display, I know there are others, but this has an ok geek factor

1) the graphics are Mac OS X not Windows XP

2) I am sure they can find an iPAQ in Russia, but I am not sure why would someone WANT an iPAQ (want a thousand better alternatives?)

3) useless... it's just one more tool to turn a PocketPC to a counter-user-friendly stuffed machine

Maybe they don't waste money like the rest of us upgrading every few months.

does anyone know how to change the skins ?

Just copy the unzipped files to the same directory you installed to (Program Files/psShutXP here). The next time I ran the program the new skin was showing. I haven't tried with more than one skin, so I'm not sure you can change them easily.

The graphic shows one of the optional skins. The default is XP-like.

This is an excellent program and it is really easy to use. They are even giving it away for free, which is interesting. I did notice that their server is really slow and I was downloading at less than 1kb/sec! Since they could lose their connection to the internet because of the high traffic, I downloaded everything--all the skins, etc. That makes it easy later if I want to add more skins. Anyway, I will probably post this to my own site too because it is really nice. I especially like the turn off (or other action) in an interval. Thanks!
