Dell DJ: what kinda HD?

hi all,
I am a new member and soon to become (tomorrow, Fedex) an iPaq 4000 owner. I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of drive is inside a Dell DJ 15g. I suppose it can't be a CF with that capacity , but the unit looks small enough ... The thing is a real lemon and I am on my third one. I was thinking it would be great to just sync all my music usi ng the ipaq, since the Dell DJ is so buggy and Crashes all the time. many thanks and regards to all

It's definitely not CF. The largest Microdrives today are 5GB.

Most likely, it's a 1.8" HDD with an IDE-style interface. You might be able to use it in a notebook if you're lucky, but not a Pocket PC.

p.s. Make sure you say iPAQ 4700, not 4000. The 4150s and 4350s don't have CF. ;)

Oh right ! thanks a lot for the info. I'm told it will be a 4705, can't wait...
