Napster 2.0 offers unlimted DRM-protected WMA files for a monthly price. Has anyone had any luck getting these to run in Windows Media Player on their Pocket PC?

I was thinking about switching from Rhapsody to Napster with this in mind, but I'm not sure...

Ive got rhapsody. Ive grown tired of MS DRM.

Have you considered using something like totalrecorder to rip your rhapsody songs at high speed?

Its not as convenient as getting the file direct, but at least it would be mp3's, which you could burn to a cd and use in your car, or just copy to your pocketpc. Much more universal and versatile.

I considered that (and just got the demo), but I'd really like to save myself the work and just download them. :)

Rhapsody is great, but I'd use Napster if I could use my PPC to take the songs with me.

You'll need PWMP10 for that, only released for the iPAQ 37xx and the Dell x30/x50 series. Of the VGA machines, only the x50v has it; the Asus 730 may get it some time, but it's only rumnors, nothing confirmed yet. It seems the hx4700/ PL720 won't get it in the near future; mayvbe with the WM2005 upgrade (if released for the given machine)
