I have an iPAQ rx3715 and a Linksys WRT54G router. I can connect fine without WEP, but I'd like to make my network more secure by enabling WEP 128 bit encryption and disabling SSID broadcast. When I enable WEP, I am unable to connect to my router. I know I'm doing something wrong, I've read the manuals for my router and iPAQ over and over, and I still don't understand. Can someone walk me thorugh step by step on configuring my router and iPAQ??

Thanks.

Keep the SSID on for now.

Change the wep on the router but specify HEX ....use a-f? 0-9?
All wep encryption passwords, be it characters, pass phrase are converted into HEX which is what PC/router can actually understand
Different manufacturers use different means of converting the pass phrase into HEX and this may lead to incompatiblity.

Use that HEX on PPC and see if that works
