Device : Ipaq HX4700.

Hello,

I'd want to run an application at given date and time.
Whithin Nsbasic I use the following code :

AddObject "S309.UserNotification.1","un",0,0
un.AppName ="\My documents\0nsb\mes.nsb"

un.DateTime = now + timeserial(0,0,10)
un.runappattime

At the given time the PPC's screen is switched on but the device is
frozen. Only a soft reset has an effect.

When coming back from soft reset the application is run...

I know there is a problem with the alarms on W2003 devices. (There was no problem with my old Jornada 720.)

Thanks for your help.
Mario

Burr Oak software sells a travel alarm program - and has a freeware program called 'wake up tweak'.

This causes the PPC to come to full power when awakened by alarms fixing the alarm problem.

You might wander over to thier web site and grab the program, install it and see what happens then.

Hope that helps,
Rich

Hello Rich,
Thanks for your suggestion.

I have already tried to correct this bug with Tweaks 2K2.

At the given date and time, the device is waked up: the screen is switched on but the device is frozen. Only one alternative: soft reset.

I get the same result with 'wake up tweak'

I have never problems with classic alarms (appointments)

Thanks again
Mario.
