Help XDA II Tom Tom Navigator

Anybody out there loaded Tom Tom Navigator on an XDAII and had problems loading the GPS engine? Everything seems to have loaded across onto my XDA from the CD Rom, but when I click on the GPS icon, it comes up with a message that the GPS engine is not installed, any suggestions. There is no connection to the GPS even if I stick it on the roof of the car for 1 hour (recommneded 45 mins).
