If you fear that Aunt Magda is going to have another hand-woven pink sweater for you under the tree this year, or that perhaps Uncle Bernie has forgotten that you're not 5 anymore and still sends you 50-piece puzzles of cartoon characters to put together, perhaps it's time to reexamine what exactly makes up a gift. For some, it's giving or receiving that perfect item that a person has been wanting for a really long time. In some cases, perhaps it's a gift such as a psychic talent. Maybe it's a gift of the gab, a gift for listening to people, a gift for solving problems, etc.. After all, it's not necessarily the size of the gift but how a present is perceived in someone's life that makes all the difference. Look through our Reading List of 'gift' titles and see if maybe you too won't discover your own internal gifts, or perhaps you'll find that you wouldn't mind giving one of our recommended titles as a present to someone else to enjoy. The joy is in the giving!
