Are you ready?

15 beautifully rendered tracks, spanning more than 20 square miles.

30 unique, high-performance cars to unlock.

Astounding dynamic lighting effects.

Vividly realistic car handling and physics.

Highly optimized game engine for outstanding performance."

Looks pretty cool. The graphics aren't bad considering that most Pocket PCs don't have 3D accelerators, although I haven't had the chance to give this a run.

i posted this game on the front page of aximsite and got a couple of questions about vga . . . this was the response we got from the developer. thought i would pass along. :)

No, Geo Rally isn't optimized for the x50v. If there is enough demand, we may release an optimized verion though.

Is it just me... or have the graphics on racing games for PPC never surpassed the mark that Racing Days set over three years ago...

To this day, I've yet to see ANY game (forget racing games) clearly surpass Racing Days in terms graphical quality. The problem with Racing Days for most people was the non-intuitive controls. If this game provides solid controls, it stands to fare better than Racing Days.

Graphic wise, the best racing game so far on a PocketPC is Michael Schumacher Racing Kart World 2002.

I disagree, its Flux Challenge.

I have both Racing Days and MSRKW2002.

The latter has better gameplay, more tracks, more intuitive controls, and better overall presentation. But I'd still give the graphical advantage to Racing Days. Replaying races with the rotating camera and the techno soundtrack in the back still "wows" people more than any other game I have. I've had a lot of people question me on whether or not I was playing back video from a PC game.

I've never tried Flux Challenge.

All this talk has got me curious to try both Flux Challenge and Geo Rally.

I believe the MSRKW engine has the ability to replay tracks from different angles but the developers has not put that in. Shame really...

I also love Flux Challenge but its too easy. I finished all the tracks in one day (MSRKW esp the US track took me quite some time but I am done now  ). Flux Challenge's graphic are nice but its just (mostly) repeating textures.
