Okay I have a nice Piel Frama case but I am now on the outs. I am about to purchase an extended life battery and low and behold the new Mugen extended life battery protrudes out the back a bit. I know this protrusion is alot less than the HP certified long life battery but I figured that someone may make something for this.

With this being said I am not expecting the new battery installed on my HP2215 to fit and I need to find another solution. I have done web searches and am not seeing anything on this.

Anyone know of any case manufacturers that take into account longer life batteries and hence design their cases around it?

Some of my requirements are - Belt clip, able to be used in the case without removal, I would like other storage in it as well (I.E. Credit card ID slots) but thats not a deal breaker. I don't care if its hard cased or soft.

Anyone able to point me in a good direction?

There are just precious few cases, from any manufacturer, for any PPC, that accomodates any extended battery. Have you considerd just buying a second standard battery and swapping when needed?

The iholster was the only thing I found that would carry my 2215 with the mugen battery. It's not a 'case' but it allows you to carry the ipaq on a belt clip.

See it here

Thanks you guys - Yeah I considered a second battery but that then means an out of Ipaq second charger or swapping batteries all the time to get it charged and then not remembering if your item is charged or not and more headaches yadda yadda - I looked at that I holster and well that holds just - well too little for what I would like.

I think I am going to try and modify my currently owned Piel Frama case and see if I can enlarge the sides slightly to allow it to fit in. If not I'll get one of the little accessory cases so I can carry around everything in a little satchel or something. As long as noone calls it a man-purse I'll be happy :)
