Newbie Question - IPAQ RX3115 chip question

I am kind of new to the PocketPC world and have been browsing at some programs for the PocketPC and notice that some programs have multiple versions (MIPS, ARM, SH3)....the Compaq RX3115 I am getting for Christmas from my wife is a Samsung chip...which one does this fall under.

That processor is ARM, and I'm pretty sure all pocket pc's have ARM processors these days.

Yeah. MIPS and SH3 were used in the past, and they're hardly seen these days. Both Intel's and Samsung's current offerings are classified as ARM.
