Christmas Card Check List

Does anyone know of a program that is a check list for Christmas cards. I would love one that worked with my contacts so I don't have to reenter each one as I have about 350 to mail out. I know Palm had one but I don't see any except gift box plus and that doesn't pull from the contact list.

Hi nanllyn, welcome to Pocket PC Thoughts.

Perhaps some sort of list program may be of benefit to you. Ilium Software have a product called ListPro (http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/lp/listpro.htm). That may help you in what you wish to achieve. :)

I have not tried it (and can't as I don't use Outlook) but the general strategy is:

Export contacts from Outlook (http://www.orcon.net.nz/help/tutorials/webmail/26528/26588/) to a file (comma separated) and import this file into ListPro for Windows.

Then drop the columns you don't want.

Then add at the front a column for checkboxes and one for a yes/no flag: this way you flag those people you wish to send a card and then click view: Hide unflagged items + hide checked items. When you have done a card for someone, you check the item so it disappears. (a shopping list works the same way).
