My 4150 will spontaneously display a "Cannot Connect - Unable to conenct: You have no modem entries created and no network card present" message. This will occur even when my iPAQ is turned off.
I have looked at the settings and do not see anything odd.
I use Wi-Fi in the iPAQ to connect to the Internet as well as the Bluetooth to connect to my phone, laptop and GPS.
Thanks for any help.

Check your email settings on your Ipaq to see if it is set to check for messages at a certain time interval.....in inbox tap tools/options/accounts/your account/next/next/next/options...be sure that box is unchecked.

all email accounts are NOT set to check every "X" minutes. Any other ideas?

In Activesync on your Ipaq tap on tools/options and be sure the "Use mobile schedule to sync" box is not checked.

I can't find Activesync on my iPAQ!! Within the windows directory, I do have an Activesync folder, but no application. In windows/programs...is nothing. In the program files folder, no activesync.
By the way, I am able to sync just fine with my laptop.
Ideas?

Check the start menu. :)

It isn't there either. If I recall correctly, I removed it so I could add another and remain within the limit of 9.
Suggestions?

Look in the windows directory for async.

The windows directory contains a folder named "Activesync" which only contains an HTML file which says, "Unable to connect...."
Other than that, the windows directory does not have a folder or file which is named async or activesync or Microsoft Activesync.
I do not see it anywhere???!!
I can't imagine that I could still sync successfully if the program had been removed from the iPAQ.

Be sure that your file explorer is set to view hidden files. In file explorer tap and hold a blank area at the bottom of a page then check "view all files"

Sometimes if I don't stop AS first when syncing via WiFi, AS keeps trying to connect later on.
Also, check in AS...Tools, Mobile Schedule and set it to manual.
I've had Today plug-ins that check weather do this as well.

Thanks to all who offered help. After allowing the ability to view hidden files, I was able to open Activesync and change the schedule for wireless from every 5 minutes to manual.
This board rocks!!
