what I want to know is how to back up just the calendar? any suggestions? , so if I messed up I just want my calendar with all my appointment back ..
thx in advance
if I can do it in active sync , I still can't figure out how .. I've click around in active sync, I see a calendar but there is no check mark beside it .. what software do I need to install

Most Pocket PCs usually have a local backup program installed on the device. Do you own an iPAQ? If so, you most likely will have iPAQ Backup installed, in which you can only select the Calendar PIM database for backing up. ActiveSync's backup feature is never a great way to backup your data.

I have ipaq 3630
I still can't find how to do it sorry
I see CF backup in my ipaq but it won't allow me to back up just the calendar ?
thx for the help
In Windows Mobile 2003 (haven't tried an SE yet, hate iPaq for not offering an upgrade for my 2210), I just launch backup and check the checkbox beside "PIM Databases", or you can drill further down and check "Appointments Database"

iPAQ Backup is actually an HP revision of Sprite Backup. If you want to download it, you can pay Sprite Software (http://www.spritesoftware.com/) a visit.

Sprite Backup definitely is not freeware, but if you want to get to test the waters, they do have a trial version for you to play around with.

And if you do like Sprite Backup, you can "donate" to them too. :)
