Alarm problems - need the fix

Just when I thought I had it all together the infamous alarm problem hit me the other morning when I REALLY needed to be on time. What is the official or real fix for this issue. I am using a Tosh E800 with SE.

There is no official fix - one thing I've heard that might work is changing the time zone, then putting it back again. Give that a try...?
