Activesync & Add/remove programs

When I connect to active sync my add/remove programs dialog always opens up
even though there are no programs waited to be added.

I have now tried re-installing Activesync 3.7.1 over the existing version - didn't help and also deleting the recreating my partnership.

How do I stop this?

This happened to me the past month or so. The way I got around this was I just installed another program through ActiveSync, thereby tricking it into thinking it already installed whatever was pending. Hope that helps you too.

It's very simple to get rid of the Add/Remove Program prompt. Just connect your PPC via ActiveSync and then run any PPC desktop installer and when prompted to install, cancel it and then close everything and finally disconnect from ActiveSync.
