ok im still lost i have an hp 5555 ipaq and i lost the box with the cd rom in it for active sync and the manual now i am wondering how to use active sync or if there is a way i can go buy a new CDROM for it i bought a sync cable but i need the software anyone know where i can get it ??

If it's just Activesync you need, you can download the latest version from Microsoft. Just go to www.pocketpc.com and click the Downloads link in the left column. There should be a link to Activesync on the page that comes up.
