Hi folks,
I'm new to this forum, but it looks a very informative one.
What I want to do is tether my PDA2K with EVDO to my laptop, so that when I travel with my laptop I have reasonably high speed wireless connectivity wherever I go.
I have been searching the internet for any tips on how to do this, and have only been able to find a few snippets.
Here is what I think is involved so far;
1) make a connection to my Telco on the PDA2K (which is telco-specific, my Telstra one in Australia has #777 as the number to dial).
2) pop the PDA2K in the cradle connected to the laptop, I guess..
3) do I need to somehow add the PDA2K to my laptop's dialup settings and then Connect?
I'd be grateful for any advice - if I can get this working it seems there would be no need to purchase a wireless EVDO device for my laptop, which would be neat and a good saving!
