I want to get a good macromedia flash program for my Dell Axim X50v. I specifically want to get it so I can view the flash from http://www.homestarrunner.com. also known as strong bad e-mail. What would be the best program to get to view these flash movies perfectly.

You can get the Flash Plugin from Macromedia.com (http://www.macromedia.com/mobile/) and then if you have a live Internet connection you'll be able to look at Strong Bad in Pocket IE.

You might even be able to use Mobile Favorites to sync any of the Strong Bad emails to your PPC's memory so that you can view them offline. You'll have to experiment and see if it works though. You won't be able to sync more that one email at a time since the only index of them is done in Flash and Mobile Favorites won't be able to see those links.

I've just set exactly this up today as it happens...

You'll find an RSS feed of all the latest updates to the homestar site here http://interglacial.com/rss/homestar.rss and if you want to set it up so that they automatically are downloaded and placed onto you PPC as soon as they are available, you can use iPodder which, despite the name works just as well pulling video content to pocket PC's as it does pulling audio content to ipods.

Theres a full how-to here. http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000630022861/ The guide is specifically for portable media centres but if you disregard the part about media player 10 and focus on the ipodder bits then just add the RSS link above to ipodders feed list.

The one drawback I came up against though is that the link for flash player 6 for pocket PC on the macromedia home page appears to be broken at the moment. does anyone know anywhere else I could download this?
