H4155 ROM Update ERROR-- 1.04H 1.02

so frustrated right now... i just downloaded the HP 4155 rom update to 1.10.03 and performed every action that was required prior to updating.

in the midst of updating (within 10-15 sec), the active sync disconnects and pops up an "error."

now all i see is this:

1.02

i really dont know what to do next... if anyone has any ideas, i'd love to hear them.

I'd call HP first and make sure you follow a documented process hereon, so that in the worst case you can get a replacement (is the unit under warranty?)

i just talked with one of their representatives, they said that they'll be sending out a box for me to ship it to their service department.

yes, the ipaq is still under warranty... until the end of this month.
