Hey Folks,

I have a 1945 HP Pocket PC. I have had it for over a year and some months. I use it daily for appointments and to play MP3's. All of a sudden it stoped reading my storage cards. Like I said i have being using the same storage cards on a daily basis. Now its not reading none of them.

Has this ever happened to anyone? If so i would appreciate any information available..

Thanks,

Franco

Does it not read the card completely?

I've had a few instances when I look at my iPaq and the storage card isn't showing up in Spb Pocket Plus' today plugin, and many more when I put the card in and it didn't register. The solution has always been to remove and reinsert it.

Perhaps your storage cards are corrupted. Have you tried formatting them? You can insert them into a card reader on your PC, and format it from there.

Alternatively, perhaps your cards aren't initialising themselves properly. There's a v1.10 ROM Update for the h1945 which corrects issues with SD Card Initialisation. You can download it here (http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/HandheldiPAQ/us/locate/105_5719.html), but bear in mind that the ROM Update will ultimately require a hard reset.
