Please join me in wishing Jonathon a very happy birthday.

:bday:

Jonathon's been an invaluable member of the team and has certainly contributed to this site in many ways, including his unique British humour, close attention to all things Windows CE, and last but not least, in making the case for camera-free devices. ;) And here's his Amazon wishlist if you'd like to get him a gift. (Hey, Jonathon, you've got good music taste!)

Thanks everyone. It's appreciated. :way to go:

Mjke - I think I have the gadget I need for now. Last week I bought a laptop and an X50v. Tomorrow I buy a C500 smartphone (for weekend use). I think I'm covered by all three of Jason's sites!

including his unique British humour

Happy birthday from another who is "blessed" by a quirky sense of humour.

So, Jonathan and OSUKid17 (and others) in terms of present quantity and quality, has the timing of your birthday so close to Christmas been an advantage or disadvantage over the years?

It's far away enough from Christmas that it does not get 'lost' and close enough that I have gotten big combined Birthday and Christmas gifts. 8)

When I used to live in the Netherlands it was different- as they celebrate Sinterklaas (http://www-astro.physics.ox.ac.uk/~erik/sint/sint.html) on the 6th of December, so it did get lost.

Hey, I've lived with my birthday all my life. Works for me.

Nice wishlist, Halo 2 OWNS, lots of music

Music is important to me. http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/media/users/2419/music.gif Whenever I borrow an album I tend to rip it into an 'On Trial' folder. If I like it, I buy it. If I don't it get popped into the recycle bin.

I basically added most of the albums from my 'On Trial' folder onto the wish list. Again, the system works for me. 8)

Well, it's just after midnight here, so my birthday is over here, but it still going for a few more hours in the US and Canada. The joys of timezones. Well, goodnight for now,http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/media/users/2419/wavzing.gif

Nah, I like emoticons in general. They can add a lot of the nuances that flat, basic text can't. OK, you could use a lot more words to achieve the same effect, but I find them to be friendly and a usefully way to show what you are meaning. 8)

Why the Avatar change btw Darius?

I get bored of avatars very easily, so I change them every now and then. Is this new one a little bit on the wild side? ;)

The previous ones were 'sunnier' and 'friendlier'. This one is a bit 'dark'. 8O

It's not quite how I see you.

Oh - don't get me wrong. I'm *very* sunny and friendly. There we go (*rummages around personal avatar collection*) - here's a nicer one. I love my Lego. :)

I try not to change my Avatar that much. Consistency has a lot to be said for it.

Or, is it time for a change............?

Yeah, I suck at "avatar consistency". I always give myself a few months before I decide to hop on the bandwagon and get a new one.

So, exactly how long have you been lurking around PPCT before you started posting prolifically then? I've not been known by that name for quite a while now.

We really should get back on topic now btw. What was it again?

Hehe... No, I only ever have one alias. I just never had the time to post back then, so yes, in a way, I was a lurker. :| But not anymore... ;)

Er... Your birthday. :bday:
