Anyone know of a good overclocker to improve Agenda Fusion's sometimes slow opening of the Contacts and Month-w/-icons view? What speed is fast enough without being unsafe. I'm risk averse and can't afford hard-crashes.

Assuming you have an Xscale processor, you might give Pocket Hack Master a try.

You start by testing allowable configurations of CPU overclocking/underclocking as well as ram. You can then set some favorites and change your PPC.

Now, what's nice is you can set specific applications to run with specific configurations. For instance, I've left my Ipaq 2215 at normal speed (398 Mhz cpu, 100 Mhz ram), but run PlanMaker at 531 Mhz, 133 Mhz ram. I run uBook at 100 Mhz cpu, 100 Mhz ram.

SO programs that you want the speed, it's there (as well as sucking battery life), and other programs that don't require it, save some juice!

I ran my 2215 at 531/133 for a while and the battery drained like it had a hole in it!

Wonder how it'd do w/ an ARM processor? Description of the software doesn't say 'not to'. (iPAQ 3845, PPC 2002)

Where do you have Agenda Fusion loaded... you will find much better response time if you can load it directly into your device... in ram.

Ok.. well mine takes a few seconds to load... However with the new PocketHackMaster 2004 you can set application speeds... Meaning you can have your PocketPC scale up when using specific applications.
