" Please notice that KSE Truefax is NOT running on Pocket PC Phone Edition devices with integrated modem, like XDA I + II, MDA I + II, Qtek, i-mate, etc. "

The 6315 runs WM Phone Edition, not plain Windows Mobile. Because of that, it would handle its comm functions differently from a WM device that makes use of dial-up access through a modem. You'll find most communications software will distinguish between WM and WM Phone Edition due to this and will either support only one or the other or produce different versions for the two OS versions. While functionally very similar, there are significant differences between the two, especially in any area dealing with communications. You should also verify that the 6315 has fax capability since not all wireless devices do.

I have a WM device and can't offer any advice on a Phone Edition-compatible fax app. You might head over to www.brighthand.com and see if there are any threads in those forums.

Voice, fax, and data may all carry over the same lines, but that doesn't mean any hardware that can handle voice will also properly receive fax. You should check the technical specs on the device and find out it fax transmissions are supported if software is loaded.

The other question is what type of wireless service are you using? I have found more difficulty with fax over GSM than over CDMA.

a possible work around would be a Pocket Internet Explorer compatible internet fax service...? Hope that helps
