hx4700 turns itself on/off without any alarm set up?

My new hx4700 turns itself on randomly without having any alarm set up. After that within 10 to 15 seconds it turns itself off even if you start tapping the screen while it is on.

I already disabled all buttons in standby but that didn't help. Anybody with the same problem?

There are two instances when this happends: When it is 24:00. This is an OS "feature". It will prepare for the comming day. When the HP security thinks that things should be encrypted. Most of the time this is based on the Locking interval you set in the HOP security settings

Thanks for letting me know! Although I had not turned the security features on at the time this turn on /off thing happend - the main thing is that this behaviour is normal :-)

FWIW - my 3115 does the exact same thing. A bit disconcerting when I first realised it was happening. AFAIK, I never saw this on my old 2215 (except the expected midnight wakeup).
