After looking at that new clio, i think it mite make a good "ultralite" for web surfing and note taking in college. One question though, how difficult is it to get apps WinCE 4.2. net?
I know with the linux devices its pretty easy......

A lot of PPC aps work on it standard or with small modifications.

yeah, because Pocket PC 2003 is basically an overwrite of windows CE, so it's basically the same, just a different way of saying it. 0X

It helps to look in the ritgh place, which is why I've moved it to the CE Forum.

It's a bit more complicated than that, as it can take a fair bit of time to hunt down many of the 'Tweaks', which also need a reasonable amount of work. You could look here (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31698) and here (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30028&start=0)as a starting point.

You could also look here (http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=20212) (although some of it is in French).

Hello,

I've got a site, with files for older HPCs and PPCs. Everything is freeware, or sharewares and demos, and I have software even for Win CE 2.0. If your looking for something specific, let me know, I have a lot of software I haven't sorted out yet.

Take care,

Chris

I just that I'd add to this thread by including my own shameless plug for anyone out there that may be still looking here for Windows CE software. I have recently revamped my existing Handheld PC software website and am in the process of reuploading previous software from my old site as well as adding new software.

The site covers all Windows CE (except Palm-sized PC) versions from 1.0 to 4.2. Software is being added on a regular basis. All downloads are either in .CAB format or .ZIP format. Freeware unzipping utilities for Windows CE are provided as well for all versions. No need to have a desktop or laptop nearby to install any of the software from the website!

Feel free to take a look at it here (http://hpc.communitypage.net)
