Boosting volume

Is there a way of boosting the volume on a PPC? I have the volume control turned up as high as it will go and if I am in a room where there is noise you can barely hear it.

well you could plug in some speakers on them, but they are not designed to push that much volume. But once some nice speakers go on them, man, they could really boost a bass. 0X

When you're referring to boosting the volume, you are talking about the PPC's speaker right? Some programs have EQ settings or bass/treble enhancements which can puish the audible sound to a marginally higher level, but it may still be hard to hear in a noisy environment nonetheless.
